When my "g" key popped off and i realized that somehow the plastic clips were broken, i was so worried about going to the apple store in the middle of a pandemic and i was really concerned about the price as well. but this replacement key came with ALL the parts u need to fix it and i literally just popped it on. $10 vs a trip to the apple store plus whatever they charge for a key? this is an easy choice!!

I've replaced a half dozen keys over the years on my 2016 MBP. I find that the clips holding the black keycaps to the white butterfly switches wear down and break over time,, resulting in keys that just fall off. It's easy to pop these on (I've never replaced the white butterfly switch).
