There seems to be 2 versions of the same keyboard, the keys on top looks exactly the same but the hinge clips under the key cap
varies in shape and color, If your keyboard is BACKLIT most likely you have version SC12, and if NOT it should be SC05.

    Sony Vaio CAPS LOCK Key Replacement

    I accidentally left the lid on my laptop open and when
    I came back in the room, my cat was sitting on the keyboard. She scrambled to jump off and her nail got caught under the caps lock key. She was fine but all of the fragile pieces that hold the key in place were permanently broken. I was SO happy to find this replacement key! It only took seconds to replace, looks and works just like the original and now I'll be able to get a few more years of use out of this older but well-loved laptop. A win for my savings and the environment. I watched a couple of YouTube videos to make sure I did the replacement correctly and that helped a lot too. Thank you so much!!!
